If the door panels are still in good shape and the problem is a specific part — a spring, cable, roller or opener — a repair is usually the right call. Replacement becomes worth considering when several things are failing at once or the door itself is damaged. A technician can tell you which applies after seeing the door.
ADR services LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman and most compatible residential opener brands, including belt-drive and Wi-Fi-enabled smart openers.
Many common repairs — including springs, cables, rollers and some opener issues — can be completed during the visit when the required parts are available. A full door installation takes longer and is scheduled once the door and any custom requirements are confirmed.

This is usually caused by the safety sensors near the bottom of the tracks being misaligned, blocked or dirty, though worn opener limit settings or an unbalanced door can also cause it. A technician can pinpoint which one applies to your door.
No. A broken spring removes the lifting assistance the door relies on, so the door can become extremely heavy and the opener should not be used to force it. Keep people and vehicles clear and arrange a repair before operating the door again.
